Wayward sheep gains cult-like following in Durham

DURHAM

Bubba has been roaming around Durham since Aug. 26 when he was first spotted at a home on Odyssey Drive. Within a week, he moved north to the porch of an abandoned house near the amber Oaks Apartments off Cornwallis Road.

And after a few days eating and socializing, Bubba moved to the GlaxoSmithKline campus on Moore Drive, and that is where he remains at last check.

Now, Bubba has a new Twitter account -- "Goat bubba" is now active, and his first post was directed at the Durham County Sheriff. It said, "You'll never catch me copper!"

If you see Bubba be careful, he can get feisty, and you can contact the Durham Sheriff's Department.
