The incident happened around 10:30 p.m., when police were called to the 300 block of Rhew Street, near Bragg Boulevard and Skibo Road, about an altercation.

When officers arrived, they found 49-year-old Todd Eugene Smith dead inside the home.
Authorities arrested Smith's brother, 52-year-old Claude Edward Smith, who also lived at the home, and charged him with second-degree murder. Officials have not said what prompted the argument.
Claude Smith is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $250,000 secured bond.
