The hunt for the suspects who shot and killed a beloved convenience store owner in Granville County is over.

Granville County deputies arrested 24-year-old Rodriguez Thomas, 18 year-old Larissa Comer, 19 year-old Rodricka Rivers, and 18 year-old Tonielle Curtis Saturday.

Musleh Mohamed Quayed, 49, was gunned down just before 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Family Market in the 4100 block of U.S. Highway 15 in Oxford.

The father of three was affectionately known by his customers as "Mike."

"He was out here trying to serve the public," said Quayed's friend, Michael Ellington. "[He was] a hardworking fellow, worked a lot of hours."

Investigators say there was a 10 to 15 minute window where a gunman came in, shot Quayed, and broke into the cash register.

A customer found him dead, lying on the floor with a single gunshot wound.

This same convenience store was hit several years ago. The owner at that time was also gunned down.

Police charged Thomas with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. He is being held without bond. The three women are also charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and they face accessory charges. They are all being held on $150,000 bond.
