Two Terry Sanford High students arrested

FAYETTEVILLE

Terry Sanford High School students Giancarlo Scibilia and Keron Jordan Guthary were taken into custody immediately following their alleged crime.

Police say a witness saw activity in a neighbor's home on Zinnia Court, Fayetteville at around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. Deputies were called while the crime was in progress and officers began to patrol the area in search of a 2013 Toyota Corolla.

Scibilia and Guthary were stopped by detectives on Old Wilmington Road and items taken from the home were found inside the vehicle. A computer and an Xbox 360 were recovered.

Both teens are charged with breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods. Police say Guthary was also charged with possession of marijuana.

Scibilia were released from the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $10,000 secured bond; Guthary was released under a $10,500 secured bond.

A first court appearance for both teens is scheduled for Friday afternoon in the Cumberland County Detention Center Courtroom.
