A SWAT team captured the man on the roof of the building.

The incident began when investigators said two men tried to rob the theater, or a nearby business, around 11:30 a.m.

An employee, who was confronted by the two suspects, fled the theater and informed a Raleigh police officer who was on patrol nearby.

One of the alleged robbers, Stanley Mark Joyner, 43, was captured outside the cinema, but the second remained inside.

Officers said Alonza Wiggins, 31, was located on the roof of the building and detained.

It appears all of the cinema employees got out of the building safely.

Both suspects have been charged with felony breaking and entering and have been transported to the Wake County Detention Center.

Wiggins asked the judge Tuesday to lower his $15,000 bond, but the judge refused because of his record.

Joyner and Wiggins have previously served time in prison.  Both were released from prison in 2011.

Wiggins was serving time for breaking and entering charges. Joyner spent 10 months behind bars for driving and drug convictions.

Joyner's bond is set at $20,000 since he is still on probation.
