Cary pizza parlor burglar sought

CARY, N.C.

Police believe the suspect has hit at least five pizza places in the last 10 days.

The latest happened at New York Pizza in the Wellington Park Shopping Center at the at the intersection of Southwest Cary Parkway and Tryon Road.

In all five cases, the suspect is breaking in at night, usually between 1 and 2 a.m., through the restaurant's back door.

Police say they are looking for a man wearing a light colored hoodie, jeans, and black shoes. They say he is likely driving a white sedan.

Here are the names of the restaurants hit so far:

  • 203 North Harrison Avenue at Roma's Italian
  • 1260 Northwest Maynard Road at Brooklyn Boys Pizzeria
  • 682 Cary Towne Boulevard at Primo Pizza (burglarized twice)
  • 6458 Tryon Road at New York Pizza
