Police say two men - one wearing a comic book hero hoodie - robbed a Subway sandwich shop Sunday evening.

The Fuquay-Varina Police Department said it happened around 8:40 p.m. at the business in the 81-hundred block of Fayetteville Road.

The robbers forced their way into the store through the back door and made an employee open the register and safe.  Approximately $500 was stolen.

One suspect was wearing a red hoodie with an Iron Man design on both the front and back that was  zipped all the way up to cover his face.  The other suspect was wearing a black hoodie with a ski mask.  Both men wore gloves.
