3 suspects wanted in Fuquay-Varina home invasion

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C.

Police say the trio came into a home on the 1300 block of Bowling Road in Fuquay-Varina just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies say one man was wearing an "Iron Man" mask, another a ski mask, and a third had on a blue shirt.

The suspects were last seen running from the house.

While police say no one inside the home was seriously hurt, a family member, off camera said the person hurt was recovering.

Now the family, along with the rest of the neighborhood wants those responsible behind bars, and to put the whole incident behind them.

"I've lived here 27 years," said neighbor Conrad Tudor.

In that time, Tudor says he never saw a scene like the one from Saturday night.

"This doesn't happen in this neighborhood at all," Tudor said.

He said over the years, while something like this is unusual, he has taken more safety precautions.

"[I] got a security system. The way times are, you don't want to spend the extra money, but you have to be secure these days," Tudor said.

He is not the only one feeling on edge.

"Didn't know why there was news at our back door," said neighbor Jeannine Tigbayan.

Tigbayan was surprised to hear the incident was so close to her home and that the three men were still on the loose.

"I was up afterwards and was like, what if they're outside, so it was a little scary not knowing, that they weren't caught," she said.

Investigators are not releasing too many details. They will not say if anything was taken or anything about a possible motive.

The case is currently under investigation.
