Police: Missing Raleigh teen found safe

RALEIGH

Investigators said Kenyetta Clark was reported missing by her family the day after Christmas.

Clark is a 15-year-old eighth grader at Lufkin Road Middle School.

Her mother, Valerie Tate, gave her permission to spend the night at a friend's house last Friday night after an evening at the roller skating rink on Trawick Road.

However, at some point between Friday and Saturday, Kenyetta disappeared.

Her mom had two brief phone conversations with her daughter on Saturday, but Tate said the second phone call was very bizarre. She said Kenyetta sounded distracted, and refused to tell her mother where she was.

There was no answer on Kenyetta's cell phone, and most alarming to her mom, the girl's Facebook account has been deleted.

Police haven't released any other details about how or where she was found.
