Family members said Ray was last seen at Tipsy McStagger's Club off Raeford Rd. They said he called his girlfriend between midnight and 1 a.m. and said "Baby, I'm on my way home, can you fix me some breakfast?"

Around 3 a.m., girlfriend Kayla Woodall said she called to check on him and he didn't pick up.

The family said they attempted to file a missing persons report right away, but were told they had to wait 24 hours. The report was filed at 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

Rays body apparently lay undiscovered in the residential neighborhood for more than a day.

Ray's sister Angela Cole said God led her to her brother's body.
