A 23-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital Friday afternoon after troopers say she jumped out of a moving car.

It happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 70 Business and the 70 Bypass just east of Clayton.

Troopers say the woman got into some sort of argument and jumped from a vehicle. She was taken to WakeMed with non life-threatening injuries.

The road was shut down for about 30 minutes while troopers investigated.

They say no charges will be filed.
