Family displaced in Fayetteville house fire

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.

The fire happened on the 200 block of Langdon Street, near Trinity Street, around 3:20 p.m.

When crews arrived, heavy smoke was coming from the single-story wood home. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly, but the home suffered $25,000 worth of damage.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
