Officers say it happened at Eastern Boulevard near the Person Street intersection around 11:30 p.m.
Police say a 2011 Dodge Avenger driven by 25-year-old Jessica Janine Parker hit a man walking toward the highway from Adam Street.
There is no word yet on the victim's name, or whether any charges have been filed.
