Gas prices on the rise; still lower than last Easter

Gas prices are going up again. They have climbed 36 cents since Christmas, but the news isn't all bad.

Experts say gas prices near Easter are always a precursor to the hike over the summer.

There's the surprise though. For as much as we've seen them rise, prices are lower than they were this time last year.

The current statewide average is $3.59 per gallon, which is compared to about $3.65 last Easter.
