Big rig crashes through front of pharmacy

April 17, 2014 4:11:07 AM PDT
Cleanup efforts are underway at a Rite Aid Pharmacy after a big rig truck that normally carries chickens crashed through the front of the store overnight.

It is unclear what caused the truck to plow into the store located in the Union County town of Monroe.

The fuel tank of the truck ruptured and a hazmat crew was called to the scene.

No customers were inside at the time, but two employees were in the building. Officials said they were not hurt.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
