CenterFest coming to downtown Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Downtown Durham will be filled with music, dance and a lot of arts and crafts, Septbemer 16 and 17. The 43rd Annual CenterFest will take place in the middle of downtown.

This year 148 visual arts from 17 states will showcase and sell their original work. This year ABC 11 Together is sponsoring the Durham Arts Village. Located in the South Bank block, the Durham Arts Village contains Durham Rising Star Arts, the Durham Arts Council Kidzone activities and a clay studio tent for children.

The ABC 11 Eyewitness News pop-up studio will also be in this area as well as the ABC 11 Family Stage.

CenterFest is open Saturday, September 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m and Sunday, September 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
