RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Thirteen children are diagnosed each day with a brain tumor, the deadliest childhood cancer. You can help these children's future by taking part in the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's Inaugural Starry Night NC Triangle 5K.

Money raised by the race will help fund cutting-edge medical research and providing support services to children and families during their cancer journey.

The race is Saturday, September 30 at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh. Day of registration opens at 4 pm and the 5K is at 5:30 pm.
