Fayetteville backpack distribution set for August 28

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WTVD) -- For students, getting those new school supplies is one of the highlights of going back to school, but for many families buying supplies can be tough.

This year there's a program in Fayetteville that's working to make sure all student go back to school prepared. It's called Gotcha' Back and this year they'll be handing out backpacks full of school supplies on Sunday, August 28 at Festival Park. Gotcha' Back expects to distribute at least 2,000 backpacks. The distribution will begin at 2pm.
