Security concerns after fight at East Wake High School

WENDELL, N.C. (WTVD) -- There was beefed up security at East Wake High School Friday after a fight on campus the day before and reported threats of more violence.

Some students decided to stay home Friday because of the incident.

Pictures of the campus from Chopper 11 Friday showed at least six Wake County Sheriff's Office vehicles in the parking lot and officers on patrol.

Tremaine Jones, 20, was arrested on charges of trespassing at East Wake Thursday. Authorities say he was one of the people involved in the fight.

Wake County Public Schools said there were no incidents on campus Friday and the investigation into the fight continues.
