CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Wake County School Board made changes Tuesday that will affect students at nearly half a dozen schools in the county.
On the agenda was a vote to change the schools calendar to deal with issues of overcrowding and under enrollment.
The board determined the following changes.
The board's vote was unanimous.
Last week, at least 300 parents and students from Mills Park Middle and Elementary schools in Cary walked in protest. They said they were concerned the Wake County School Board was considering changing the schools from traditional to a year-round calendar.
