An American in Paris playing at DPAC through Sunday

DURHAM (WTVD) -- In 2015 the 1951 Academy Award winning movie, An American in Paris, became a hit Broadway musical. It's the story of an American soldier and a mysterious French girl, each yearning for a new beginning in the aftermath of World War II. The musical also features songs from George and Ira Gershwin.

An American in Paris opened at the Durham Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, January 3 and runs through Sunday, January 8.
