Dogwood Fall Festival comes to Fayetteville

One of the Sandhills' favorite events is "blooming" again in autumn. This weekend marks the first-ever Dogwood Fall Festival, to be held in Fayetteville's Festival Park.

Carrie King, the festival's executive director, stopped by the ABC11 studio in downtown Fayetteville to offer a taste of what's in store.

The event begins Thursday and will feature haunted hayrides, a haunted house dubbed the "Lafayette Insane Asylum," and live entertainment - as well as a food truck festival on Saturday.
