Kinky Boots returns to DPAC

DURHAM (WTVD) -- The Tony Award winning musical Kinky Boots opened on Tuesday, September 13 for an encore run at the Durham Performing Arts Center.

Based on a true story, Kinky Boots is about a Northhampton, England shoe factory that starts manufacturing boots for drag queens as a way to survive.

With songs by Grammy and Tony winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper, this joyous musical celebration is about the friendships we discover, and the belief that you can change the world when you change your mind.

Kinky Boots is playing at DPAC through Sunday, September 18.
