A Wake County family appeared on Rachael Ray

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- If you missed Rachael Ray on Wednesday morning, you never got a chance to meet a Wake County family that seems like a Raleigh version of the show "Full House."

Bruce Ham lost his wife and the mother of their three daughters in 2009. Shortly after she died of cancer, the girls started watching "Full House."

"The show gave us hope and made us realize that a family could come together even in unusual circumstances, to be able to put things back together and bring joy and happiness back into a tough, tough situation," Ham said.

On Wednesday's show, "Full House" star Candace Cameron-Bure surprised the family.

You can watch Rachael Ray on weekdays at 10 a.m. on ABC11.
