Dad puts baby to sleep by mimicking car ride with toy truck

You know how with some babies it's so much easier to get them to fall asleep when they're in a moving car?

Well, one dad figured out a way to create that effect without leaving the house.

A member of the dad's family posted the above video of a baby riding in the bed of a motorized toy truck. The truck has been re-purposed into a sleeper using cushions, and it seems to be working, as the infant doesn't stir once.

The family member titled it, "Watch What Happens When I Leave Daddy Home Alone With Baby." Though it's unclear how that family member feels about the invention, some social media users found it pretty innovative.

Just make sure the prototype has a seat belt, dad!
