Nature and Halloween meet at Creepy Crabtree Celebration

WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- If you're looking for something to do during the Halloween season, then you're in luck.

The Wake County's Lake Crabtree County Park is holding a free Halloween-themed celebration on October 21.

The event is for people of all ages, there will be family-friendly festivities and games that provide educational opportunities.

People who attend will have the chance to meet the park's pet snake as well as the chance to win prizes by participating in activities.

Attendees are welcome to arrive at any time during the event hours and should check in at Lake Crabtree Park's White Oak Shelter for day-of-event details.

Wake County's Lake Crabtree County Park is located at 1400 Aviation Parkway in Morrisville.

The event will start at 2 p.m. and run until 6 p.m. in the afternoon.

Halloween costumes are welcomed and encouraged.
