Zach Parnaby's mom says her 20-month-old son was a "mischevious, cheeky, and extremely brilliant" little boy before he was diagnosed with a fatal form of cerebral palsy. Now his family is making the most of the time they have left together with a bucket list memorable activities.

"He would walk and hold onto our hands, or the couches. He was a normal developing child up until last year," Lindsey Parnaby, Zach's mom, told ABC News. Then, over a couple of days he just stopped walking."

On Dec. 17, Zach's doctors confirmed that he had a fatal form of cerebral palsy.

"They said it was one of two forms, both were terminal," Parnaby said. "They couldn't tell us which one it was until they did more tests. I didn't want to believe it."

But with the heartbreaking reality that their time with Zach was limited, Lindsey and Zach's father Ben decided to make every day count for their son by creating him a bucket list.

"We couldn't sit home and feel sorry for ourselves and be morbid every day because in turn, it would make Zach feel that way," Parnaby told ABC News. "We took the stance that if Zach is smiling every day, then that's what matters."

Zach's bucket list can be seen below.
