RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Festivals and openings are the theme of this weekend in the Triangle, and for you, that could mean free fun and food.
This weekend, there is a big festival of creativity in downtown Raleigh. It's called Sparkcon. You can take advantage of lots of free music, entertainment and fitness including free classes. Saturday morning at The Grand Ballroom, there is a free dance-yoga class, modern and creative dance classes as well as a free trial karate class in the afternoon.
"Really, everything is free," explained Sparkcon Founder Aly Khalifa. "There's so much to do, from photography to art to music, it will be stellar."
The Greek Festival takes over the Jim Graham building at the NC State Fairgrounds through Sunday. Tickets are $3 at the door, but, you can print them online on their website for free before heading out.
And, finally for music lovers, U2 collaborated with Apple's latest launch this week. The bands new album, Songs Of Innocence, is available for free on iTunes through Oct. 13. If you have iTunes, the album is already in your music library, all you have to do is download it.
