RALEIGH (WTVD) -- In the last few years, Raleigh Denim has grown into an international brand with Nordstrom, Barney's, and Saks Fifth Ave. carrying their clothing.

The start up began in the Warehouse District of Raleigh and now operates a second store in the SOHO area of Manhattan.

Raleigh Denim Co-Founder and Designer Victor Lytvinenko says their mission is simple.

"We are focused on making the highest quality jeans in the world," Lytvinenko explained. "That's our goal. Every single person here from the first person that touches the fabric, to the sales people, to the people we have on the floor, we're all trying to create this experience-this elevated experience of quality and a connection to our hometown. We make everything here, it's a part of who we are."

On July 12, Raleigh Denim will give their hometown an opportunity to snag samples and factory seconds with huge savings during a sample sale open to the public from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

"It's 60-90 percent off," Lytvinenko said.

"I mean there are some things that are like $300 that will be marked down to $25," he said.

Lytvinenko says arrive early, because at the last event customers were lined up nearly 4 hours before the sale.

"We can only let in so many people at a time. And, the line was around the corner and halfway around the block when we actually opened," he said.

Raleigh Denim's Sample Sale is Sunday, July 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Raleigh Workshop, located at 319 West Martin Street.
