RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Bluewater Spa in Raleigh is giving discounts on services in exchange for a clothing donation for kids in need headed back to the classroom.

Bluewater Spa in North Raleigh is very popular with 40,000 clients.

"Most of which are mothers, nurses, and teachers," said Nurse Injector Melissa Stockyj. "Our clients are your typical patients who aren't used to receiving-they are the givers."

Those clients or new patients can now give themselves a break on spa services with a donation of gently used or new clothing to Bluewater Spa.

We're partnering with Note In The Pocket," explained Stockyj. "It's a nonprofit organization. So, we have clients bring in used or gently used or new clothing.

Its for kiddos K-12 who are either impoverished or homeless. The mission behind that is we don't want kids to feel they can't have social development or educational development if they don't have the appropriate clothing."

The clothing will go to students in need as they head back to the classroom.

"We've been working with this charity for over a week and today we have over 1,500 pieces of clothing," said Stockyj.

For the patients bringing in the donated clothing, Bluewater Spa is giving discounts on services.

"Twenty percent off of botox, juvederm, cool sculpting, laser hair removal," said Stockyj, "and 40 percent off spa services like facials and massages, things like that."

The promotion will run through Sept. 1 and there is no minimum on how much the spa is asking you to donate to receive a discount.

"Any donation is welcome," said Stockyj. "We ask that socks and underwear be new, but, gently used clothes that kids aren't using anymore can be brought in. There is a higher demand for socks and underwear things like that but, there's no set amount just one donation per service."
