Deals for Amazon Prime Day
Amazon Prime Day is July 12

For the second year, Amazon is gearing up for a one-day global shopping event called Amazon Prime Day.

Prime Day is July 12, when 100,000 deals are offered exclusively for Amazon Prime members.

But, you don't have to wait until the 12th to look for savings. The online retailer is offering daily deals leading up to Prime Day where between four and six items are offered until inventory runs out. Each day there is a different theme. We checked and found the theme Tastes Of Summer which included a blender, dinnerware, and an indoor herb garden with savings between 29 percent and 70 percent off.

There's also deals for Prime Now, the same day delivery service from Amazon leading up to Prime Day. New Prime Now shoppers can save $10 off their order and get a code for $10 off another purchase in July.

Prime Day has other retailers competing for shoppers, with Walmart and Best Buy offering deals over the next week.

Amazon sources say Amazon Prime Day deals will have the lowest prices on Amazon items in at least 12 months.

An Amazon Prime Membership costs $99 for the year and includes free 2-day shipping and streaming media. Students can get a discount on Prime membership.
