Man shot in back while sitting in parked car, Raleigh Police say

RALEIGH, NC (WTVD) -- A 44-year-old man was shot in the back while sitting in a parked car, Raleigh Police said Friday evening.

It happened about 8:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Quarry Street.

The victim was taken to WakeMed.

His condition was not immediately known.

There was no suspect information, but police are actively investigating.
