Two shot near Durham convenience store

DURHAM (WTVD) -- UPDATE: Few details are available Friday, but police did say the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Durham Police Department is investigating a double shooting Thursday evening.

The incident happened at the Parkview Convenience Store at Pilot Street and Fayetteville Street.

A man and woman were shot, but their conditions are not known. They were alert and conscious when police arrived at the scene. Their identities have not been released.

The gunfire blew out the front-door glass of the mini-mart.

Police have not said whether there are any suspects.

No word yet on the conditions of the victims.
