BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A North Carolina Powerball winner's boyfriend is out of the Brunswick County jail again after posting a $12 million bond.

ABC11 affiliate WWAY News said Marie Holmes' boyfriend Lamarr McDow, 31, was arrested for violating his pretrial release for previous drug-related charges.

A spokesperson said McDow posted his bail around 12:45 a.m. on New Year's Day. It was not revealed if Holmes' funded his bail.

McDow has been arrested several times before and after Holmes hit the jackpot.

In late October, McDow was arrested under a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.
