Police: Man with gunshot wound came to Raleigh station, 4 charged

A man with a gunshot wound came to the police station in north Raleigh (WTVD)

Four people are facing charges after police say a man came to a Raleigh police station Sunday with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police said the man arrived at the police station on Six Forks Road around 5:30 p.m. in a private vehicle. He was then taken to WakeMed for treatment, officials said.



According to police, the shooting was not random and it happened in the 6700 block of Ridgecroft Lane.

Authorities later arrested 32-year-old Jessica Lee Goins, 19-year-old Cikeria Armoni Green, 29-year-old Shawn Michael Messina and 42-year-old Dixie Dawn Williams in connection with the incident.

All four were charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
