RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A Toyota Prius slammed into a power pole Monday afternoon in Raleigh.

It happened just after 3 p.m. at Brentwood Road and Westinghouse Blvd.

The impact snapped off the pole, bringing down electrical lines.

The accident knocked out power for hundreds of people. Duke Energy said all of the 400-plus customers affected had power restored by about 9:30 p.m.

Police said there were no serious injuries in the one-car wreck.
