Graffiti found along American Tobacco Trail

DURHAM, NC (WTVD) -- Police say graffiti found along the American Tobacco Trail in Durham does not appear to be gang related.

One concerned woman posted images on a website that addresses neighborhood concerns and wrote that it "appears to be gang markings on the guard rails bordering the (American Tobacco Trail) at Massey Chapel Road."

But police said Tuesday the markings appear to be the work of vandals who "tag" - which is a form of signature.
