APEX (WTVD) --The Wake County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death in a home just outside Apex.
Deputies had the home in the 3100 block of Sawyers Mill Drive roped off with crime tape Wednesday morning.
The sheriff's office say Melissa Fontaine Perlman, 43, was found dead by her husband, Cory Perlman, about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Preliminary information from the medical examiner indicates Melissa Perlman died of natural causes.
Neighbors told ABC11 deputies on scene informed them they weren't actively searching for anyone, so they didn't feel they were in danger.
"This is a really good neighborhood," said Reggie Cummings. "A lot of really good families live here. There are rarely instances where the police are in here for any reason. I don't know what happened but it would probably be something more personal."
