Three children escape Raleigh house fire

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Three children are safe with their parents Friday night after escaping from a burning home in Raleigh.

Firefighters arrived at an address on Landis Street off of Tryon Road to find heavy flames pouring from a home.

Officials said the children were inside at the time of the fire but managed to get out unharmed.

It took firefighters about 15 minutes to get the fire under control.

The cause remains under investigation.
