Deputies show their funny side
Ever wonder what happens in sheriff's department elevators?

EL PASO COUNTY, Colorado (WTVD) -- Deputies in Colorado Springs used the retirement of a colleague to show their funny side.

It was an appreciation for Deputy Tony Scherb (in the orange shirt) who retired on Friday after 29 years of service with a video recorded in the department's elevator to the tune of Silento's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)".

The video starts with Scherb getting into the elevator and then he begins busting some moves.

He's later joined by another officer and she also breaks out in her best dance moves - that is until the chief deputy gets on. But they're right back at it as soon as he gets off the elevator.

The trio straightens up and put on serious faces when Sheriff Bill Elder walks in, but he joins the fun, showing off his dancing skills.

The video's been viewed more than 3 million times since it was posted.
