Four adults are arrested in a meth lab bust in Wake County.

Authorities uncovered a reported meth lab on Thursday afternoon in Wake County.

From top left, clockwise, are Kevin Shawn Williams, Matthew Scott Godbold, Brittany Michelle Carter, and Justin Roger Lee.

Authorities said at the time the search warrant was served, there were seven adults and an 18-month-old child at the home. Raleigh HazMat was on scene to decontaminate those in the home.

The sheriff's office confirmed Thursday evening that the house was, in fact, a meth lab. Authorities said it was not an active meth lab, though.

Four people were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors, maintaining a dwelling, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Those arrested and charged were identified as:

  • Kevin Shaun Williams, 32

  • Matthew Scott Godbold, 30

  • Brittany Michelle Carter, 23

  • Justin Roger Lee, 28

  • Lee is being held on $350,000 bond. Williams and Carter has bonds set at $250,000. Godbold's bond is 200,000.
