Woman charged with allegedly selling drugs to military members

WAYNE COUNTY (WTVD) -- A Wayne County woman is accused of selling drugs to active-duty military members stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Base.

During an investigation, authorities with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations said 29-year-old Roberta Mcclure of Goldsboro was selling narcotics to Airmen while delivering food to the base.

Mcclure was taken into custody shortly after the incident and charged with trafficking in opiates by possession, transportation, sell, and delivery, PWISD schedule II controlled substance, sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance, and conspiracy to sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance.

She was placed in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $507,500 secured bond.
