Fayetteville man facing 2 sex assault charges

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A Fayetteville man already detained for a parole violation is facing new charges.

Marcus Adams is accused in two sexual assaults involving the same victim.

The crime was reported in Jan. 2016 in the 3000 block of Candlelight Drive.

Detectives charged Adams with second-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, and attempted rape.

He is being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center.
