Missing Nash Co. mom and twin babies found safe

The Nash County Sheriff's Office has found a missing woman and her 4-month-old twin daughters.

Heather Marie Lanfair and her twin daughters were last seen around 3 p.m. Saturday driving a blue 2013 Nissan Altima with registration plate number DKD-9327.

Lanfair and her daughters, Sofia and Riley, were possibly headed to Walmart in Wilson, authorities said.

Sunday afternoon, the sheriff's office posted on their Facebook page that Lanfair and her twins had been found safe.

"Law Enforcement personnel have met with them to make sure that there was no concerns of criminal activity," the post read. "Sheriff Stone and the NCSO want to thank you guys for your help, assistance and well wishes."
