Wake County: Creedmoor Road closed at Mount Vernon Church Road due to crash

Traffic was backed up for miles on Creedmoor Road in Wake County after a crash at Mount Vernon Church Road Wednesday afternoon.

Chopper 11 HD was over the scene where several people were reportedly taken to the hospital. Traffic was backed up between I-540 and Hwy 98 because of this crash.

Traffic was moving steadily past the scene by 6 p.m.

Authorities have not released any additional details surrounding the accident.
