People flocked to downtown Raleigh for the St. Patrick's Day parade

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A sea of green took over Fayetteville Street outside the Raleigh Eyewitness News Center on Saturday.

The 34th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade began at 10 a.m. in downtown Raleigh.

On display were hundreds of floats, bands, dance groups, and plenty of Irish luck.

Barbara Gibbs, Big Weather, Ed Crump, and Gloria Rodriguez all took part in the parade.

Parade-goers also visited the ABC11 team outside the Raleigh Eyewitness News Center. Our "Pop-Up Studio" was in operation for you to practice your reporting skills!
