GREENSBORO (WTVD) --Police are investigating reports of multiple fights at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro during a student event on Friday night.
The fights were reported shortly before 10 p.m. during a school event in the Coleman Gym on campus, according to a safety alert that the university sent to students.
Spring Garden Street, Walker Avenue, West Drive, Stirling Street, and Kenilworth Streets had been closed during the fights for crowd control, according to the school.
Witnesses posted videos of the fights to social media, which shows several people involved. There is no word on any possible injuries or a motive for the fights.
