Burglars hit 2 ABC liquor stores
One break-in was reported at the store on Vineyard Pine Lane in Rolesville.

ROLESVILLE, NC (WTVD) -- Police believe early-morning break-ins at two ABC Liquor Stores in Wake and Nash counties are connected.

One burglary was reported at the store on Vineyard Pine Lane in Rolesville before it opened around 6 Monday morning.

About three hours earlier, two men also broke into the ABC Liquor Store on East Nash Street in Spring Hope about 25 miles away.

Rolesville Police Chief Bobby Langston said detectives believe the same men committed both burglaries.

He said the men were not armed and didn't take anything from the Rolesville store.

However, the suspects broke the store's glass doors to get inside.

An employee at the Spring Hope store said the suspects also broke their front doors.

Chief Langston said they don't have a good description of the suspects, only that they were wearing dark clothing.

There is surveillance video but police are not releasing it at this time.

Lew Nuckles, Wake County ABC Law Enforcement Chief, said they are working with authorities to find the perpetrators.
