Basketball league provides opportunity for youth

DURHAM (WTVD) -- "Campaign 4 Change" is a non-profit founded by Vegas Don, a man who turned his life around and is now working to help other do the same.

Five years ago "Campaign 4 Change" started DONS Basketball League. It's a league that incorporates mandatory community service for the youth who participate. DBL also provides players with a NBA style experience as it offers both tryouts and a draft.

In Raleigh this year's tryouts will be April 23 & 24 at 2pm at State St. Community Church, 1200 S. State Street. In Durham the tryouts are April 30 & May 1 at 2pm at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, 810 N. Alston Avenue.
