FUQUAY-VARINA, NC (WTVD) -- A 16-year-old student at Fuquay-Varina High School is charged with making threats.
The teen - who ABC11 is not naming - was removed from the school and is getting medical care.
Police said they got word of the threats March 16, and began an investigation of allegations the boy had a list of people he planned to harm.
No list was found, and the boy was charged with making simple verbal threats.
Police said there was no use of a weapon or any overt act. More charges could be filed.
